RESEPI : CINNAMON ROLLS

I really love the smell of cinnamon powder. Or like The Rock said 'cinnanan. I am allergic to cinnanan'.

Loved the movie.

To fulfill my mengidam towards the lovely smell, I tried Cinnamon Rolls or better known as Cinnabon.

So I googled recipes and I tried this one. Thanks Ibu Hannah & Sophie for the tips and trick. But I think my cinnabon is err..not so perfect in terms of shapes and sizes. I had problems when rolling it before spreading the mixture and also when rolling it and cutting and transferring to the cup. Banyaknya masalah..

This is the recipe.

Ingredients:

1 cup of water/milk - I used water
2 tbsp milk powder
1 egg - beaten
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 1/2 cup bread flour
1 1/2 tsp yeast

2 tbsp Cinnamon powder
5 tbsp brown sugar - only 4 tbsp
(Add more if you want)
Butter Spread

Method:

1. Place all ingredients into the bread maker in the order of ingredients. And press Dough for setting
2. Once done, turn onto a lightly floured surface and roll out into 1 cm sheet Or sheets if you prefer more than one flavour.
3. Spread butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on the sheets Or chocolate chips for chocolates flavour
4. Roll up and cut into rolls about 1 inch thick. Let rise in a greased pan for 30minutes, cover with kitchen towel
5. Bake at 180 deg cel for 18 minutes.

Translation:

Bahan-bahannya:
1 cawan air/susu
2 sudu besar susu tepung
1 biji telur - dipukul
3 sudu besar mentega
3 sudu besar gula
1 sudu kecil garam
3.5 cawan tepung roti
1.5 sudu kecil yis segera

Untuk sapuan:
2 sudu besar serbuk kayu manis
5 sudu besar gula perang - jika suka manis, lebihkan.
Mentega

Cara-caranya:
1. Masukkan bahan-bahan ke dalam Mesin Pembuat Roti mengikut turutan bahan.
2. Setkan Mesin kepada teknik DOUGH.
3. Setelah siap, keluarkan dan gelek kepada ketebalan 1 cm.
4. Sapukan mentega dan campuran gula + serbuk kayu manis sehingga meliputi keseluruhan doh tadi.
5. Gulung dan potong setiap keping 1 inci.
6. Susun dalam pan pembakar dan biarkan selama 30 minit (tutp dengan tuala)
7. Bakar selama 18 minit pada suhu 180 Darjah Celcius.
